The Northwestern Illinois Center for Independent Living is a community-based, non-residential, center for independent living dedicated to enhancing the options available to people with disabilities so they may choose and maintain individualized and satisfying lifestyles. To fulfill this mission, NICIL combines direct services to individuals with advocacy for social change to allow greater integration of persons with disabilities into the mainstream of life.

NICIL's 3rd Annual Walk 'N' Roll is now complete and was a complete success! Thank you to all who attended, volunteered, or sponsored! We are currently in the process of planning for the 4th annual Walk 'N' Roll. If you or someone you know would like to volunteer to help us plan and organize next years event, please call or stop in at NICIL.
