|In 1985 Northwestern Illinois Center for Independent Living opened its doors with the mission to empower people with disabilities to live in community’s in which we live. Since that time we have moved a couple of times, met a lot of friends, served thousands of people, and made a difference in our five-(5) county areas. We do that with dedicated volunteers, Board of Directors, and team members. We think our role in the lives of our stakeholders is pretty important and we are proud to serve.
